Draft — to be reviewed and approved by the owner before launch.

This policy explains what information Recs with Bri (recswithbri.com) collects when you visit, how it's used and the choices you have.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and the site has no sign-up or contact forms. When you visit, limited technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting provider and analytics tools, such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, the page that referred you and approximate location derived from your IP address.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Cookies and third parties

Amazon Associates

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so that qualifying purchases can be attributed to us. Amazon's use of that information is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, such as which pages are read most, which sites referred visitors and general device and country breakdowns. It doesn't set cookies or use local storage, and it isn't used to track you across other websites. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We also use Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Pinterest's analytics for site owners. These don't run any code on our pages. They give us aggregate reports, based on each platform's own data, about how our pages and Pins appear and perform on their services.

Hosting

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may process technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site.

How we use information

  • To run, secure and improve the site.
  • To understand which guides are useful, in aggregate.
  • To reply when you contact us.

We don't sell your personal information.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
  • You can use browser privacy features or extensions that limit tracking.
  • You can contact us to ask about information you've sent us by email. [RIGHTS LANGUAGE TO CONFIRM for applicable privacy laws]

Children's privacy

Recs with Bri is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
