Who this site is for
Recs with Bri is for anyone shopping for a beauty or personal-care tool who wants a straight answer. Maybe you're replacing a hair dryer that finally gave out, trying a new kind of skin-care device, or putting together a gift. You want to know what's worth a look, what the specs mean and which option fits your routine.
What we do
- Explain what a tool does and the features that actually make a difference.
- Compare options side by side on meaningful criteria, like materials, settings, size and upkeep.
- Check model numbers and product details so you're looking at the right item.
- Look up claims like "FDA-cleared" in public databases before we repeat them.
- Update guides when products or information change.
What we don't do
We don't test products hands-on. Our recommendations are based on manufacturer specifications, product documentation and other public information. We think careful research is genuinely useful, but it isn't the same as using a product for weeks, and we won't pretend otherwise. You'll see a note saying so at the top of every guide.
We also don't accept payment for placement, and we don't cover adult products.
